Gotten my new T-802

only preset EQs. I usually use it on a flat EQ- its well balanced. I think it sounds better than the S9- very clean and warm.

Would it be considered an upgrade moving from the S9 to the T802?

I'm pretty happy with the sound quality of the S9 when using Mach3Bass.

I usually dislike just about any player when the equalizer isn't in use.
Even the S9 without equalizer is kinda bad I think. Does the T802 have any preset that will come close to BBE Mach3Bass just a little bit?

If you are happy with the S9 don't switch. The T802 is a very basic player with very few EQ settings, so you probably wont like it.
