Default Worth the upgrade?

I own a 80gb ipod *cringes* i bought it for the storage. Now i want a player with better audio and I've been looking at the cowon.

My Question is, is the difference noticeable?

between the ipod and cowon? yes.

i'm not sure about the 80gb one, but i've listened to ipod touch and ipod nano. frankly, it sounds like FM radio.

It's not the newest one, 6th gen? I believe.

Also, is the 4gb enough space considering the SHDC expansion?

for me it is. but i only have around 2gb of music, and only one video/movie on it at any given time...

however, i know alot of other people have up to 20gb of music, not sure if you're one of those people...

and teh SDHC slot can take up to 16gb (unless there is 32gb sd card, in which case its 32gb), which i feel should be plenty of space.

yeah the reason i got the 80 is because i have about 42gbs of music. i'll probably only put my 320kbps songs on the cowon. i barely have any video though.

32gb SDHC cards are out there, though they're around $100 USD on Amazon.com and you can get the D2 in up to 16GB ($150 @ Amazon.com) at 42gb music I would reccommend a HDD player, that way you have room for growth, there's a big selection of players out there, just do your reasearch and you'll be fine
