c250 running Rockbox w/griffin power dock

I am trying to get my c250 to play through a Griffin Power dock audio out port. I am using the Rockbox current build r20774-090421 and the bootloader from flyspray FS#9955. The Power Dock model is 9211-SNSADK (see pics).

The usb plug on the back is power only since I am using a power adapter and not a pc usb port.

If I boot into the original OS the port works but not when Rockbox is loaded.

Can someone point me in the right direction? I think this should work work because the dock is passive and is not communicating with the device.
