hey all! i just got my new bluetooth headphones in the mail! yay
the headphones i got are the CARDO S-2 bluetooth wireless headset. ![]() It took me a long time to find a good pair of bluetooth headphones (that didnt cost a fortune), so I decided to post this in case anyone else is in the search for some bluetooth headphones. The sound quality is very good. The other pair of headphones i have are sennheiser, so i am a bit picky when it comes to sound. But they are still good, with nice bass to them. the right headphone has controls to play/pause, volume buttons, and you can turn it up or down to switch between songs. oh, and there is no annoying static sound in the background when switching songs. I had this problem with another pair of bluetooth headphones that i owned. this makes it very convenient for me. i can have my p2 in my backpack, and still be able to control it. I can switch between my music and my cell phone when i get an incoming call. i am not at all tech saavy, but these headphones were still very easy connect! they are on sale for $25 (original price $60). only problems i can see atm are the arms. they are a bit on the flimsy side so i dont know how they will hold up in time. also the right headphone will be blinking blue (then again you have this with every bluetooth headset). Removed the link so it didn't sound like blatant advertising. If you're interested, these can be found with a simple Google search -sassafras Last edited by sassafras; 04-17-2009 at 02:06 AM. |

I dont have the specific number of hours it works but for music i listen to it:
on the bus (2 hours going and coming back), and sometimes in between classes. sometimes i even forget to charge it and it lasts through the next day also. I dont know about talking on the phone since im kinda a loser and ppl dont call me (They txt me lol). so overall I will say the battery life is excellent. |

According to the link:
Detailed Features Specifications Talk Time: Up to 8 hours Music Playing Time: up to 8 hours Standby Time: Up to 250 hours Weight: 2.8 ozs. Battery Type: Rechargeable Lithium-Polymer Charging Time: Approximately 3 hours Dimensions (main body): 1.77" x .0.70" x 0.91" inches Bluetooth® Specification: v.1.2, Class 2 Chip manufacturer: Cambridge Silicone Radio (CSR) Certificates: CE, IC, FCC, Bluetooth ® Still, i think they are too bulky and I hate that kind of headphones, my ears start aching after a few time, but the features are good enough. |
