If money was the same which one? A3 or Q5W

I'm down to these two 80gb models. From what I have read I believe that the A3 has better video and sound but on the other hand the Q5W just has so many xtras with it (wireless remote, bluetooth, WIFI and NAV) most I probably would bever use but again the prices are just about $100 within each other which is driving me nuts.

Also I see that the Q5W has a FM out so your radio can be tuned into the unit to receive the sound. So it probably would work on my motorcycle stereo system........

I have the Q5W but have never had the A3.

I would get the A3.

The Q5W has nice extras but it's processor means it's not compatible with many Windows CE applications out there, so don't get fooled in to thinking you will be able to run lots of extra applications on it.

The cost of the Q5W is not warranted.

The Q5W does not have FM out, only FM receiver.

The A3 has video recording which is a huge bonus.

Wireless Remote - is great, I use that often, but sometimes only because the A5W doesn't have external buttons for track navigation, so in situations like the car I use the remote because finding the next/prev buttons on the screen is hard when driving, tactile buttons are required. I think the A3's buttons woudl be a huge help.

Bluetooth - I haven't tried, apparently very limited options work, so check what you want to connect to it will connect.

WiFi - is great, I use it often for internet and email (using a 3rd party app called nPOP for email).

Nav - I haven't tried, but hear that it's cheaper to have a seperate navigator.

Actually went with the A3 , it arrived Monday and was promptly sent back Tuesday. I did not like it at all, low volume output compared to my Creative Nomad Zen Xtra as well as my D2. I use my Creative hooked up to my home stereo system and was looking to upgrade it, I figured that the A3 would be good as it was 80GB like my Zen. But the volume out was very low compared to the Zen, I did try different EQ settings which did not help at all.

The joystick was a PITA I guess because of my large hands, the software was also not user frendly.
