NW-A808 using sonic stage, and cant import this mp3!!

Hi everyone
Im using sonic stage version 4.3.03.16180
and im trying to import this mp3 file into sonic stage so i can transfer it into my walkman NW-A808, but it just doesnt seem to be possible...
The file is a proper MP3 format sound (.mp3), and bitrate 320
I can play it on Windows media player normally.
I tried converting the file to see if itll work but i cant even import it into programs such as Total Video Converter or Acoustica mp3 audio mixer.
Anyone help me?
