right out of the box.. the mids/highs are pretty nice, the bass is sort of "buzzy" (I don't know if that's the phones or the music, though) Will let them burn in for a while and then see.

It's been 32 days since order - unknown to arrival. Haha. At this point I will literally lose all mental and emotional control once they arrive. Waiting for something has never gotten so bad. Haha. If my KSC-75 get here before they do, I'm gonna throw a fit. Haha

I'm really getting sick of the muddiness of my Marshmallows. I listen to my HD-201 at home(can't bring them anywhere... my 'DIY' cable is too fragile), and these are just death

Yep, it's going to, as well. I just got electronic notification that my KSC-75s have left Indiana. Two states away. I'm not even sure if my PL-30s are in the US or floating out in the ocean.

My Pl12 arrived on Monday. Maybe your Pl30 will arrive very soon....

So, I get this email just 5 minutes ago. My KSC-75 are at my doorstep. .

PL-30 are nowhere to be seen.....haha.

Wow. Just, wow.

You might be thinking I'm so happy to have finally heard my Pl-30. Came in the mail today.

I'm the opposite of happy. Anybody know that karaoke effect that takes the two channels from the audio source, and cancels out everything in the middle? Well, that's what's happening with my Pl-30... obvious defect, so I can't even give you an opinion on the sound until I ship them back and wait another few weeks to get them. I've even tried it with other sources, thinking it's a defect with my headphone jack. Talk about major disappointment. At least I love the Fiio E3 that came with it. I'm contacting mp4nation right now

I waited 34 days for this..

Big time. Just emailed Mp4nation... they better reply

I'll try it with the Clip later, but I sure do like it paired with the D2. The bass is there now

Hope they'll let me keep my E3, HAHA!

EDIT: Well, I found a way to 'replace' my gross foamies from my Marshmallows..

PROBLEM FOUND

It's where the cable meets the Y-connecter. Jiggle it around a bit and you lose the sound. Keep it in once spot and bam. So now that I know what it is, I'm packing 'em up and they're going back as soon as I get an RMA from MP4nation. Hope it doesn't cost me $20 to send it back....

First impressions: Seems the high-end sibilance and harshness is already clearing up after about 30 minutes.. Mid range is PUSHED. Most definitely the opposite of my Marshmallows, my ears need adjust time. The instrument separation and sound stage is very comparable to my KSC-75... not as good but very close.

They really are harsh at first, but it's all good after a 72 hour burn-in. Also, I find it to be very annoying with the cable guider crap. :/ So did you get your SoundMAGIC in grey?

Jet black. Won't get that 72 hours because they're going back this week. The cable guider is a joke.. ha.

It is, but, with more burn in, the problem seems to be disappearing? This is slightly confusing, but yeah. I love the sound.. there are parts of music in here that I can't even hear with my KSC-75.. it's a whole new experience, and the harshness is going now, 24 hours total so far with pink noise burn-in. It's gonna take some time to get used to the dominant mids, compared to my Marshmallows. After a couple weeks of enjoying these(if the problem stays away), I'll write up my own review.
