I have an 8GB MicroSD in my 280 v2. I think someone here said they spoke with Sandisk Tech Support and they said the v2's can hold up to 32GB in MicroSD.

The theoretical limit with SDHC is 32GB. Right now only 16GB can be had. Also, the is a 4000 song limit to the thing's database

a little clarification...32GB SDHC cards are available now but microSDHC cards (for Sansa players) are at 16GB. You can find both at most stores. The specs do allow for 32GB microSDHC cards in the future.

Which may be a reason to upgrade to a Fuze if you want a 16GB microsdhc....because that 4000 song limit will be going up to 8000 in the Fuze in 2 or 3 weeks.
