Default Bad Tracks?

I have a Sansa e260 v1.
Yesterday, something weird happened, after selecting a song and choosing play - it will say "Bad Track" in a red box, and ... kind of freeze/lag. Although some songs still work, many others now fall under this "bad track" category. I've had the Sansa for a month or two now and this is the first time it has happened.
Fast forward to this morning, when I check my Sansa e260, there are all kinds of random folders with nothing in them inside my music folder. I cannot delete them - it says the operation has failed and the device has been disconnected/stopped respoding - although it did not disconnect.

Reformatting also doesn't work ... "the device was unable to complete the format."

What next? =/

Try running CHKDSK http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...ad.php?t=16958 ... if that doesn't work, you'll have to reload the fw.
