Accidentally put .WAV file in, now music files are messed up.
I accidentally placed a .WAV file inside the music folder of my YP-T9, and since then on my player, it threw out a lot of the songs I had in my Music and when I try to play the other ones left, a message comes up that says "Unable to open,Please Update The Library". I was able to delete the .WAV file and thankfully all the recorded files are okay. Using emodio, I'm able to put most of what I had before back in without a lot of problems, but some non-working files remain in the music folder and won't delete so I can put them in again.
I've never updated the library before. Can that hurt any of the working files in there already? I don't have the option to do an update from my player or emodio, but I guess that's because I have firmware 1.68. I've never updated my firmware before, can that hurt any of the working files in there already?
