I'm trying to get album art to work, and maybe I'm missing something.
I have FLAC files, tagged with MP3tag. I have the image files embedded in the FLACs. I have an i7 and just upgraded to firmware 1.17. I have the Wallpaper setting in the Display menu set to Album Art. And yet I see nothing. No matter what option I choose in the Display menu (User Defined, etc), my screen just always has a black background with the standard album name text, etc, on it. Is there something I'm doing obviously wrong? Or does FLAC or this firmware not support album art? Thank you! Last edited by piller; 12-09-2008 at 12:09 AM. |

Freeware AudioShell supports FLAC 1.1.3 style picture album art embedded tags, also flac album art support in softpointe’s Tag & Rename.

rolie, You are right. I normally don't use flac files on i7 other than a few tests. I tried various ways this morning and the AA feature does not work on my device with 1.17 version :/

Thanks for everyone's input. I'm having the same problem with OGG. I guess we're just stuck without album art and tag support (OGG only) until another firmware update comes out, if ever.
Bummer... |
