Yes, you can. Some people have issues getting the card working into MTP mode. MSC mode is lots easy.

i have windows xp and i use the player in msc mode. 2 drives show up in my computer- one says sansa player or something to that effect and the other drive (which is the micro sd card) is listed as a removable device.

What's the maximum card size that the C250 accepts? Is it 2 GB as the e250?

The c200v1 is 2GB, and the c200v2 is 32GB if they come out.

From what I have read the Rockbox install will allow unlimited size also.

Has anyone really ever used more then 4gb cards in a C250, because I've got a C250 V2 and I've read at Sandisks website that it doesn't really support much more then 4gb of music. i've tried a 8gb card but once I get to the 4gb mark the card seems to get corrupt. all the data on the card is gone. I've tested this with two 8gb memory cards now.
I do know that 32gb cards will work as they are backwords compatible, but that doesn't mean the player will be able to read 32gbs of data off of the device... http://kb.sandisk.com/cgi-bin/sandis...bCZwX3BhZ2U9MQ |
