Default Sony's WMCNWP10 Portable USB cable for Walkman A & S Series with WM-PORT

Sony's WMCNWP10 Portable USB cable for Walkman A & S Series with WM-PORT

Anyone use one of these?

I just ordered one for (weekly) travel...

Edit:
Just arrived. Looks fine, semi-rigid, less-than 5" long (...no smartalek replies needed here. hahaha). In my travel back-pack it goes.

I am curious. What exactly is it? Doesn't one come with the player?

This is what it is, considering we had no idea WHAT it was (Google is my friend!!!): http://www.adorama.com/SOWMCNWP10.html

Still, looks kinda' strange for a USB cable.

Me too: what is that thing? All sites only say it's an "USB cable for players with WM port", and it costs 20-40 bucks. Where's the WM port, on the opposite end of the USB plug?

Appears to be a rigid cable, like a stick, the rubber part on top is just a cover for both ends, they're only showing the usb side as the wm port appears to still be under the cover on the opposite end. Certainly not worth the price they're asking.

Yes, the descriptions above are accurate. The WM plug is on the opposite end of the USB plug.

I paid $30 Cdn (approx. $20 USD), from sonystyle.ca. For me, it's worth the price. Until receiving this, I had not travelled (weekly) with the oem cable, and generally ran out of juice before the flight home.

Thanks to the admin and mods for joining this discussion!

Heheh, I didn't really contribute anything - but thanks for the clarification.
