Hi,
I am looking for a DAP that has the following features: 1. Bookmarking of multiple MP3s 2. Variable-Speed (or at least very fast) fast-forward/rewind 3. Lanyard hole for hanging around neck 4. No requirement to adapt MP3 to some other format: i just want to plug it in to my PC and copy MP3s to and from it. 5. Very good audio quality 6. Fairly large screen, say 2"x3" 7. At least 4 Gbyte capacity I often use my player to listen to MP3s I've purchased and downloaded from the Teaching Company, which are usually 30 minutes long. I want to be able to create bookmarks for various files, and I also want to be able to fast forward very rapidly in case I accidentally depress the wrong button and begin the next lecture before finishing the first. I really do not want to convert my MP3s to some proprietary or alternate format for use on the player. Finally, I listen to a lot of different types of music, and I would like flexibility of access to the files, perhaps sorting via folders or IDV3. Money isn't an issue, $300 is fine if it will get me what I want. Thanks for your help. |

The Cowon D2 seems fit for your needs. Bookmarks as many as you want, instant jump to any place in a file due to touchscreen, lanyard hole, good audio quality (certainly not needed for lectures, though?
), MSC drag'n'drop, etc...
