Default Using iTunes 8 Playlists with Sony Content Manager and NWZ-S639F

Hello
I have a number of files in iTunes format (without DRM) which I want to appear in playlists on the above player.
I have tried dragging and dropping the playlist from iTunes (version 8) onto the content manager which has not worked - it lights up briefly and then states done instead of showing processing.
I have also tried to right click on them in IE (from the Walkman itself) and then option to Create Playlist did not appear. It was fine when I was using it with mp3 files only (following instructions in a previous post on this forum).
I am curious if there is a conflict with iTunes 8 or whether the issue is connected to the format of the file. Incidentally I am running Windows XP (Service Pack 2) and also have Windows Media Player 11 installed on the PC.
Any suggestions are gratefully received.
Kind regards
Sarah

The best advice would be to import your DRM free files into Windows Media Player or MediaMonkey.

WMP is horrible. Use either Media Monkey, J.River, or WinAmp.

Many thanks for the above advice.

Does media monkey require any additional codecs to display aac files in the way that WMP does? I agree totally that WMP is horrible which is why I was using iTunes in the first place.

Kind regards
Sarah

Just download and use Media Monkey, nothing else to install.

Just a quick note to say that I have tried this on a different PC with iTunes 7.7 and that I was able to take the playlist across onto the player without any issues.
