Hi everyone. I have just upgraded my T8z with the latest firmware, version 1.38 and installed the lyric station to my computer. I got the software working well and I've marked many songs with their proper lyric. I've done that while the player was connected and every time I marked a song, it seems that it was transfering the lyrics. But for some reason there's no way I can see the lyric on the player while listening to it. I can see the buton visual lyric but that's it. Would anyone know how to fix this or how to properly use the sofware? Thanks

i think that lyrics wont show up if you have your mp3 at Vbr even with Ogg, doesnt work, i think its a bug from the very earlier firmware releases.
i'm using the same firmware korean 1.38 and works fine though station lyrics is very crappy hehe greetings

Thanks for your help. Not so long after this first post I just realize my mistake. Somehow I did not properly transfer the lyrics I had found in the first place. So I did the operation again with Media Studio I beleive it's called and it worked fine. I find it works good now. You just want to be careful of marking down your songs with the proper version ( lenght usually) for your titles in order to get syncronized properly. It's a nice feature to have. I use it when jamming around with some freinds so I can sing whitout having to get prints of the songs.

its very simple.
The only thing you need to remeber is that you do everything (adding the lyrics, transferring the song to ure mp3 player) through the 2 programs - the lyrics station and the media studio. first of all...you choose your song that you want to add lyrics to in lyrics station...then if you want the softeware to automatically search the lyrics for you just click 'markings.' Now i think its based on a databse of lyrics right? it searches the internet for the lyrics...so it might and might not have the songs you are looking for. Another thing u need to consider is the filename of your song. If it has out of the ordinary stuff eg coldplay_yellow_ -.mp3 then the software will probably not find your lyrics. to solve this problem click ure song and click the button 'search'. Then enter the artist name or the title track in the search bar or on the ID3 tag section, simply click the singer or the title name and it will appear on the search bar. Click search! then choose the correct lyrics for your song. Then click marking at the bottom. Want to test if it works? click preview and press play. It should display the words as it plays the song. After that open your media studo. Go to where your marked song is. right click it and hit the transfer button. And your done! Also: If you want to manually insert your own lyrics - click the editor. I think thats pretty self explanatory. I aint tried it myself but i think it would take alot of time inserting lyrics, positioning phrase for phrase and timing it right to match the song. anyway...sorry if i was long winded...but hope that helped. might i add that you need firmeware v1.38 (or v 1.36 ?) for this to work i think. You can get those here on this forum: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...read.php?t=654 |
