Default Gigabeats suffered from the Y2K9 bug too!
Just like the Zune, the gigabeats died for the day. Why do I know this? Well, my Gigabeat dies for today, and i thought it was time to get a new mp3player, but just at 12:10, a few minutes ago, it started working again.

Yay! and really really weird o.0

2008 = leap year
366 days vs 365
december 31st = day 366
players that are coded badly, dies due to not knowing what to do when all the days are over but the year isnt
...weird that cowons didnt self destruct, although those probably cant count to 366 to begin with
