Default Programing Volume Buttons to Switch Songs
I've been thinking about getting a D2, but the only thing that keeps me away is the touch screen and no easy way to switch songs while driving.

Can you program the Volume buttons or any other buttons to be next and back?

Here is how you do it.
Settings>....General>......User defined button>.....Set hold state>........Use pper buttons (FF/REW) and there ya go. Now the + and - will track songs. Hope that helps.

Read the manual that WalkGood posted. Though limited, it explains that the buttons can be programmed for different uses. You guys really need to do a bit of research. We will answer questions, be looking up info means we can assist some who really needs the help. Search the forums, all the information is already there.

Man the D2 kicks ass on any player out there. You made the right choice.... Just play with it that is how I figured it out. Check all the settings. The player does some real neat things.
