replacing battery???

well, my gigabeat battery decided to die on me. it work when pluged into AC wall charger, but it doesn charge and there know battery icon in the bottom right.

so, how do i remove the battery, i got the casing open, and then unclipped it (the wire for controls). but now the next thing is the USB and chargin interface section, it has two little screws, do i undo these?
and, to make it easier for myself, can i somehow un-clip the HDD?

so process please, i was hoping to have it done ASAP...

can the HDD be unclipped?
it looks like it is in the pic but i cant seem to do it.
