I am trying to record audio to my D2 via the external input, but I can not seem to locate were that input is ? Is it that tiny odd shaped port that is next to the USB port ?? and if so what the heck kind of plug do I need for that ? All I got was a USB plug when I bought this.
Thanks! |

you need the line-in cable converter (optional accessory) like the one in the manual:

I think it should be quite easy and cheap to make one yourself.
As far as I know, the connector is a micro-USB. Cables with a micro-USB are cheap. One only needs to know which of the USB contacts are used for the stereo line-in (and in what order). Is there anyone who owns a line-in connector together with a Volt/Ampere/Ohm meter, who can check how the USB connector is wired internally (the USB part with the left/right/neutral on the line-in)? Thanks, and bye. |
