I am buying a Sony A828

Wish me welcome to the Sony club I'm going against the shop recomendatin to get a Ipod since is best, i even been told in a forum that ipod sounds better than Sony and when i had problem with Itunes and that i didnt like itunes but prefered Drag&drop
I was told from ipod users on certain forum "Is because i do something wrong" or "People like me should not own technology"
I was even told that the ipod users prefered the Clear sound from ipod
because it sounds better on Sony because Sony manipulated the sound

Well i dont care I know that when choosing Sony I am getting a Superior sound and i am happy with that, i get drag&drop so byebye Itunes
and i use bluetooth headset often so Sony is perfect for this

I decided to go for a Golden A828, i first though of a silver but didnt like that the backpart was white, the golden is golden on the back too


I am going to get a White Sony leather case for it


I already own a expensive pair of Sony Bluetooth headphones so i would not use so much the quality headphones included but i might use them too.

This will be my first Sony walkman in a long time

You won't regret it. I bought a A729 (16GB, no BT), and I have been overjoyed with it. it sounds better than any player I have tested. It sounds miles better than anything Apple have made.

You can quietly laugh at the iSheep with their iPods and Xboxes....

Although the A828 is a great purchase, perhaps hold off until the new walkman is revelaed during CES before making up your mind?

I want a New player this christmas so it was the best choice in the local store, But next year i am planning to get another and the choice will probaly stand between Sony touch and Cowon S9

I also have A samsung P2 does anyone know how Sony compare to Samsung soundwise I heard is equal but could i even get better?

I also think you will enjoy this Walkman. I have two now, the beautiful silver 8GB A818 and the 16GB A729 and am very happy with them. They have a great screen so videos look excellent and the music sounds awesome.

Where did you get the gold color A828? I think that color looks good. Better than black or white for sure.
