Transfer iTunes songs to P2?

I wanted to know if it was possible to transfer songs from the iTunes library to the P2. I have tried using the iTunes Sync but it did not recognize my P2. I just brought my P2 from Best Buy in October so it is fairly new. Thank You in advance for anyone that can help. Greatly Appreciated!

From what I am reading about iTunes Sync, look like you need to convert the P2 to a UMS device. It does not work with MTP devices. Plus if you have DRM music, it might not sync up.

One thing you could do is burn the itunes music to a disc and then rip the disc back onto your pc in mp3 format. It's a bit of extra work, though.
