Default Status on USB Support

It looks like great progress have been made in USB support. Hopefully we will see it soon. This is from the Rockbox IRC log:

Quote:
16:25:17 dionoea austriancoder: so you have a native rockbox USB stack working now ?
16:25:54 austriancoder dionoea: almost... msc driver is not ready... and some cleanups are needed
16:26:18 dionoea cool
I must thank Jeton for alerting me to this.

Yeah, that was on my site yesterday. Also, it was barrywardell who solved the USB send problem:

14.51.11 # * barrywardell thinks that he has figured out the usb send problem
14.51.30 # <barrywardell> it was the ibss: we were sending ok, but just sending zeroes!
--
15.31.30 # <austriancoder> msc driver is in work...
--
austriancoder usually comes on later today, so there'll probably be an update in a few hours.
EDIT: Whoops - didn't see the big red text xD Feel free to copy that up to your previous post

Default New FAQ

Hello all:

I finally have a chance to put the new FAQ up. Not all contents that I want to be in it is there yet, but I would like to get a general reaction to the format. Please post all comments to the Forum Questions and Comments thread. Also, please feel free to suggest more questions.

Thanks.

Metadata-on-Buffer is now committed; this involves a largely rewritten playback buffering engine.

The goal of MoB is to allow storing any kind of data related to an audio track in the main buffer while this track is playing. This will allow a clean implementation of AlbumArt and CuesheetSupport. It was the object of a SummerOfCode 2007 project by NicolasPennequin (Application Information)

I've unstuck this thread because nobody's been updating it (it's been a year) and the MajorChanges page on Rockbox.org's wiki is probably more useful for anyone who's actually curious of the project status now.

Maybe a link to that page would be nice.

The Rockbox wiki is down at the moment, but all wiki pages follow the same link format of
Code:
http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/(PageName)
so for the MajorChanges page it would be http://rockbox.org/wiki/MajorChanges

This page name format will probably be of limitless help to users in general, since it's common practice to reference people to, for example, the CustomWPS wiki page (which would be http://rockbox.org/wiki/CustomWPS)
