Upgrade fails, cannot paste to Internal Storage

I purchased a P2 from Circuit City. When I start up SMS it says...
There is an update firmware available as follows, you have to scroll down to see it...

Also, I cannot drag and drop .rom and .RSC files by the OS. If I copy the paste is grayed out.

I'm using Vista and running SMS in Administrator mode.

Any help is appreciated. This is the second unit from Circuit City that's doing the same thing.

Had a similar problem with sms supplied on the disc.Uninstalled it completely and went direct to emodio.com and downloaded the program from there and it immediately told me there were updates which it then updated the player from eu 1.2 to 5.1 also now have no problem converting to svi.Hope this helps
