hi i recently bought a samsung p2 and i updated the firmware to U.S. 5.08 and it was supposed to have games, subway maps, and some other stuff but when i turned it on there wasnt any of those why is it like that?
appreciate any help

Thats because you have to d'load them and put them in yourself.I agree it is a little hassle but oh well ^^

Bluewaves are waves of new features.
On the P2 there were 4 bluewaves. In every bluewave there are several firmwares. For instance the last bluewave is the 5.05 beta and the 5.08. The 5.08 only correct minor bugs but doesn't add new features compared to 5.05 because it is the same bluewave. So I think there still will be one or two firmwares. They will do it just to say "we don't forget you, P2's owners" but I don't think there will be a new bluewave with real new great features

i need some help... i have no idea how to put the firmware on the P2... i try to open up the things i downloaded in the original message and all it says is "The compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted.
Help?

Password/Hold function
Is the password and Hold function only availabl on the Korean version. I've never being able to find it on my P2 and before I think that I've gone completel y mad, can someone enlighten me - I've trawled through the threads and I'm beginning to go blind.

This is a dumb question, but please answer it honestly:
If I download the Korean firmware, will there be any Korean language stuff on my P2 I don't want, or any other side effects of getting it? I'd like to have the dictionary, and I have some free time tomorrow. Thank you guys for being here for this stuff, it's why I come back all the time and try to add at least some input.
