Default Battery gets HOOOOOOT!!!
my p2 is not even a year old- but when i use it for about 10 min, (this does NOT include sleep mode), the battery pack gets hot. it wasn't like that for my ipod nano. anyone have the same problem??

Am i reading this correctly o_O ... do you by chance know the percentage of nano's that overheated, died or had issues in the last 12 months is ten fold that of the p2.

Sounds like a battery / P2 issue because mine never gets hot.

HOT??? are u serious? man i have never felt my p2 getting hot.. not even once and it has almost been a yr

If it's not even a year old, probably has warranty, right?
Send it back to Samsung, faulty battery isn't safe.
With mp3 players, shouldn't be a common thing.

Yeah, go with the others, get it replaced, that battery might be in a fault state, and eventually could blow up!
