high storage - no video

Hello,
I am looking for mp3 player, 60+ Gb storag, I have 120Gb of various music files. I don´t care about screen, don´t need it.

Is there something out there, which would have huge storage, decent battery life and decent size? Flac and ogg support would be wonderful.

I don´t use tags on my files.

do you know about something not yet available from cowon?
please advise.

Wait for the O2 to arrive around the middle of Oct to the beginning of Nov. It'll be 32gb & take a 32 gb sdhc card. SQ will be EXCELLENT, it's got decent battery life, BUT it's got a HUGE screen.

I was thinking the same thing, but I don't want the screen either. Can't understand why they don't have a music lovers series, lots of memory, great sq, great fw, built in amp and a small screen

i doubt any company is going to make a player like this because it only appeals to a VERY small demography.

not many people i know in real life (no one, in fact...) has more than 8gb of music, so i dont think a 60gb player with no video/photo/game/anything else that requires a decent sized screen support is gonna draw much of a crowd or make the company any money...

I have over 50GB of music on my drive. I have my own, the wife's, the kids, etc. It really adds up. I almost need a storage locker for all the dang CD's we have.

It depends how it is priced. In reality though, a 32 gig D2 would be a good idea. I hope Cowon releases a 32 gig D2 soon, and it is priced under $250. Perhaps if that happens, then the price of a 16 gig D2 might be under $170. Perhaps one radical approach would be to design a player with 2 or more SD card slots. Why must a player be limited to one? Can the player's processor only handle one? If so, then when will processors be available that control 2 or more SDHC cards?
