I finally experienced your "bag of chips" crackling sound when the P2 was playing embedded sound effects like beeps. I had never heard it before, and it is still not consistent, but it definitely occasionally makes a crackling noise toward the end of the beep segment. This is, like I said, not a constant problem which makes me wonder what is causing it exactly.

I still have yet to experience something like that sound actually during playback of a file.

Dear GoldEar,

can you inform us about any result of the conversation between you and Samsung? I experienced exactly the same effect what you mentioned with my T10 and Sennheiser CX300. The strange thing is that my girlfriend has an S3 and there is no noise like that...Just to let you know, on S3 the same "menu beep sound" is used like on T10, and I cannot experience the noise with the same Sennheiser CX300.

Please let me know the result of your investigation with this topic.

Many many thanks for your effort!

Because GoldenEar mentioned that he was already in a conversation with Samsung about the issue, but he didn't post the result or the conclusion of the investigation, and I'm curious about it.

Hope my answer satisfy you.
