Default Zen X-Fi Vs Cowon iAudio 7

I've been using my dear Rio Karma for about 4 years and this summer i decided to buy a new dap... I ended up buying an ipod classic.
Ok, i'm pretty ashamed.
Now i'm selling it on ebay and i'm looking forward for the best sound quality dap, i don't care about screen size/quality and other stuff, just sound.

I would go for the zen for his size(32gb), now i have like 23Gbs of music and i would like to keep it always in my pocket, but thanks to the forum i noticed the iAudio 7 and the sound quality.
From what i understood, the differences are:

X-fi 32 gb:
Good sound quality, but not as good as the cowon
Half battery then the rival

And... The x-fi here is sold for 260€ and the cowon for 215€, the only thing that would drive me to the zen are the added 16 gb that i would love to own.

The real question is: How big is the sound quality difference between the two daps?

P.S. sorry for the bad english, even if i don't think it's that bad :P

P.P.S. I also have a pair of Koss Portapro, so i don't really care about creative's ones

If you like the best SQ, the Cowon D2 or the iAudio7 would be the best bet. The D2 had a SDHC slot like the Zen X-Fi.

and unlike the zen xfi the d2 has the sd card fully integrated into the library
if you have 23gb then i'd go with the d2 16gb + 16gb sd card. will deliver you with 32gb of top notch dap!

Wow! I found the d2 16gb at 198 and it would be nice with a 16gb card (i would have no reasons to consider the zen now).

But now i have two questions about the d2 :\
Is there a list alphabetically ordered like the ipod or the zune? Can i use itunes or other softwares like that to put music in it?
While playing i have to choose between card and internal content or everything is connected?

Yes it is alphabetical. You can use MediaMonkey or J river http://www.mediajukebox.com/ among others. Yes you have to choose between the two. Plus you can have as many SD cards as you want.

So, just to be sure, it's like:
Music>select between card and internal memory>artist>album>song?

It's a little more than that but yes and no.

If you have only 2 bands, U2 on the interrnal and tool on the external. Your listening to u2 but you want to hear a certain tool song. You touch the bottom of the screen and the lower menu comes up you touch browser then music list then back arrow until you get to a list of options where you are on folders then press down and you get artists and tool and u2 will come up, this is an integrated list of both memories. But you go past An option of D2/D2 exterior where it is seperate. It sounds like alot but it goes fast.
So really it's both
