What Earphones???

What earphones are good for bass because i listen to hip-hop for $100 and down

Some may recommend the Sony EX51/71 - they have strong bass, but it's muddy and crude, and you can get bass that's better defined and just as powerful.

The Sennheiser CX300 is well regarded at $50, and the V-Moda Bass Freq is good, too, and might suit your tastes.

At a higher price I like the Panasonic HJE70 ($88, and another good, bassy phone), the Sony EX90 (c.$90, not so much for the sound as for the extraordinary comfort), and the new V-Moda Vibe ($101), which is getting rave reviews on Head Fi.

Or you could really save up and go for the Super Fi 5EB......

I'd really avoid Earthumps, Kossplugs, and Skullcandys.
