Hello,
I have a reasonably new NWDB103F player. It's great other than one slight irritation - the screensaver function kicks in so quickly after the last button press that half of the time I can't read the track information before the screen goes black. Then I have to press the "back" button to get the screen back on... which takes me back to the previous screen, and so when I go forward again to try and read track title the same thing happens....*sigh* It's just a wee thing but it's annoying. Any ideas? Thanks very much TMB |

Seems that there are no user options relating to the screensaver on the B103.

The screensaver can be disabled by enabling "Save ON Super", i.e.:
Settings -> Common Settings -> Power Save Mode -> Save ON Super I'm not sure if this extends the time that the track info etc is displayed, but I prefer the unit without the screensaver in any case. It's an impressive little unit. I purchased one after returning a Philip GoGear which was terrible in terms of MP3 sound quality (it was OK for wma)! |

Yes-it's a nice player, thanks for reminding about the power modes.
