Hey guys, I was just wondering if it would be worth it for me to upgrade my current earbuds (Sony MDR-EX51LP) to some Creative EP-630's
I'm not going with some Senn's they just cost too much. I want to stay within the 30 dollar price range. I currently own a Sansa e200 |

You should notice a small step up, quality wise. But you would even by switching to the cheaper JVC HA FX55.
I'd save your money and get something much better when you can afford it. |

The cheapest way: you could modify your EX51's for some improvement... cut out the paper filter, put some cotton wool (or spongy material) in the opening - for better sounding highs. Stick some scotch tape over the three openings on the back of the EX51 and poke one (or two) holes into it to adjust the bass response to your liking.
