Ok, I've look around a bit, sorry if this is in some other thread or post, I'm just not sure who I should be asking. But are there rockbox supported games besides the ones on rockbox.org, like the game boy games or doom, that are completely freeware? Or maybe just old classic games that don't have copyrights?
And one more question, I know it's kind of a weird question, but I own a gameboy and some games. Is it legal for me to have some of those games on my sandisk? Thanks for any answers, and again sorry if I shouldn't be posting this here

No, the copyright holders have not allowed that. Even if you own the game kart, it is still illegal to download the roms.

Correct, it is like ripping DVDs even though you own them putting them on your computer is illegal.

No, DVDs are encrypted. Even though you own them, in many countries decrypting them MAY be illegal.

In terms of unencrypted ROMs there is almost always a law that allows personal backup allowing you to copy the game to your computer FROM THE CARTRIDGE. Downloading it is not the same, and that is usually forbidden.
