Hi, I am not new to the Sansa world as I have had an e280V1, so I went looking and found the e200 MSC Playlist Editor/Creator and it was exactly what I was looking for. It worked as a simple, easy and non bloated program unlike Windows Media Player 11.
Fast forward, all was right with world till I tried to add an 8G SD card. I then found out that the e280V1 will max out at 2G SD. So I went and got a new e280V2 for the 8G SD. I mean how much could they have change? Not Knowing, what I later found out, just about everything that I really liked. The reason I first went with the Sansa was I had set up a lot of people with their ICRAP and never wanted to be tied in to that junk. I have gone through and have downloaded, tried most of the programs on this forum and they will create a playlist for my PC, but not on e280V2. Is there such a program? Help! I have two e280V2 that are looking for this. On a side note when getting a new e280V2, they do not come with the MSC function as a option and it must be put in to a forced mode to do this. Call Sansa Tech support and they can walk you through this. Once you have gotten the new firm update, magically you will have the “old/new” USB selection on the menu. Thanks for any help.

You can try this: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...ad.php?t=30366
Your e280v1 can read the 8GB microSDHC card, but you need to use Rockbox. |

Thanks for the info, but I should have mentioned that the e280V1 was returned to Sansa for a new e280V2 at no charge. I spent some (to much) time with the tech support telling them about their product. Note the MSC mode; they still do not know all the time it will do this so this is a FYI.

I guess that I needed to “look under every rock”. The following link in this forum is where a temp fix program can be explained for the EasyTag for putting a playlist on the V2 models.
http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26141 While it works on of my V2, it’s little cumbersome VS the MSC Playlist Editor/Creator. I have not tried it yet with the SD card and will play with it over the next few days and see. But if someone still wants to make a program like the V1 MSC Playlist Editor/Creator for the V2, Ill still be happy. |

Yea, the v1s used a special playlists, and the v2s uses the standard m3u playlist. That can confuse v1 to v2 owners.
