Default 'TUNES' Folder Contents NOT Showing Up on Sansa

All the files are there, I can browse them using the database function, but none of them are showing up through the Tunes subdirectory. It's in the folder, as all the songs showed up on the computer, just not in that file.

I believe you cant stick the your music into the sansas "music" folder because rockbox wont see them. Try making a folder called "My Music" or something and copying you music there.

The OF hides the MUSIC folder. Rockbox doesn't show hidden folders by default (it does if you choose to show all files). However, rockbox does see the music, otherwise it couldn't build the database out of it.

I realized that...that's why I said 'Tunes', not 'Music'...it worked in the past (ie, the previous 7 months), only last night it started not showing up.

I rather answered carpenter940, saying that it's not necessary to use another folder than music. I have no idea why Rockbox doesn't see your tunes folder, but I highly assume a user error.

Fixed it...rebooted and went into the quick menu for files, turn on show all files and boom, it's all there.

My generation says "tunes" when they refer to music. Your question was vague and I misunderstood. Actually when I go back and read your post again you really don't even ask a question... it's more a statement. right?????

@ kugel, I've put music in my "music" folder and it didn't show up but the same file (mp3) shows up in my own music folder. I kinda remember when I first used CPCHANs build he wrote to make you own music and video folders. It's not there now though.
