Default P2's on Macs

Hey everyone!
MY girlfriend's mom just bought her a mac after I bought her a p2 and she loves her p2, not very handy with computers and hates ipods.( She got it from me ) Anyways, I was wondering if the xp OS on the newer Macs would allow her to run Windows MEdia Player and use her P2 as if it were a PC or will the hardware mess everything up? Is Anyone using their P2 on a mac?

If you change the firmware to UMS, then you can just drag and drop your files. I use mine on linux, I mainly use drag and drop, but Amarok also works.

I use a program called XNJB which allows you to drag and drop files into the folders on the P2. It can be found here.
