Help Dir Buffer is Full!! message

I just added 18 new songs to my 8gig card. Brings me to a total of 1018 songs.
However, now when I go and browse my .mp3's, my Sansa flashes this message on the screen:
"Dir Buffer is Full!!"

Why? How do I fix it? And I am only taking up 5.25 gigs of my 8gig card.

Thanks.

Hello odeonkreel,

it's because by default Rockbox is configured to accept 1000 files per folder. To fix it, you either have to make many smaller folders or go into Settings/General Settings/System/Limits/Max Entries in File Browser and increase the value.

Hope this helps, KenA

Thanks KenA. The max entries value fixed my problem.
