There's a new Creative Zenith in the market

Apparently its called a Creative Zen Crystal and its 4GB

Does anyone have any information on this new player?

You can play mp3s and games on it

Yes, there's another new Creative player coming soon... but do you mean Creative's " Crystalizer" compressor/EQ/marketing-stunt, which is already used on the new Zen X-Fi?

No not a marketing stunt or anything.The player is actually called a zenith krystal

Its suppose to be the next model after Zen Stone and it has 1 color .It is blue

Maybe it'll be announce soon

Yeah, I saw that just last night. It seems to only be on the HK site as of yet. No Zenith, but still Zen as the name..... I can't believe they called it Krystal. lol Anyway, I wonder how good the games will be on only a single color 64x64 display.

It looks just like the Stone just with a different display and turned vertically.

If this is available cheaply I'll get it as my workout player. Looks a lot more useful than that X-Fi and its useless WiFi features.

Like I stated in my news comment, with all the sports features, why in the world didn't they just call it the Zen Sport?

Well, the naming theme does go along with the Zen Stone. It's there preference I guess.

Didn't realize on the theme until you brought it to my attention. So going on this theme, if Creative comes out with an even smaller player, I think the Zen Pebble would be a good fit.

Creative's naming conventions for their players are from unique and usually end up more on the side of confusing. So, i guess in a way this fits.

Anyone do a google search on Zen Krystal yet? lol

Edit: Nevermind. Now that ABI broke the news, many sites are breaking the news. The results of Krystal were interesting before this happened.

That thing looks like a cross between the V and the Stone Plus. I wonder if it's going to be an Asia-only item, or if they're planning worldwide release. It doesn't really fit into the grand scheme of things, as it effectively duplicates the Stone Plus, but - that's Creative for ya.

For the Krystal? That would be insanely expensive! About HK$580 would be a bit more reasonable.
