I'm having a problem getting ogg files to play on my Z5.
The files are working fine on winamp but then when i put them onto the mp3 it only recognises them as being much shorter than they should be. Usually it puts them at 10-20 seconds. The songs play fine for that time but then suddenly stop playing, after this all songs on the mp3 will not play even the ones that worked fine before. At this point i have to reset the mp3 to be able to use it again. I've tried putting the files on with winamp and dragging and dropping them. I've also tried it in MTP and UMS modes but they are both the same. The Z5 is 4gb big and has firmware 2.47US. I have updated this in the past but it made no difference. |

Ogg is simply a container format. I assume your files are Ogg Vorbis. What program are you using to create your Vorbis files? And what compression settings are you using?

Yes they are ogg vorbis. 150kps.
It says Nullsoft Vorbis Decoder v1.53. Is this the right information, i'm afraid i'm new to this type of file. |
