[HELP] Sansa e260 screen turns white after everty file transfer

I have bought a Sansa e260 today and everytime I transfer my music to it the screens goes wither white or like all staticky. Is this because I am transferring the files from windows explorer? Do I need a special program to transfer the files?

what mode do you have the player in... MTP or MSC?. You should be in MSC mode if all your doing is drag'n droppping from the windows file manager.

start troubleshooting if not already...ie: does windows 'see' your e260 as 2 drives in MSC mode...example: drive(G) e260 internal drive & drive(H) microSD slot?.

Check your transfer cable...make sure it plugs in properly. All you need is Windows to transfer your music..nothing special.

had that problem thought it was the firmware but i found it was one song that caused it after 4 hours of trying your gonna have to erase your mp3 completely with the sansa.fmt (i think)
