I accidentally deleted all my files on the p2. please help

I plugged in my P2 to my computer and while I was trying to delete some files off my computer I didn't know that I was on the p2 folder and accidentally deleted all of my files there. now, when I turn on my p2. the touch screen would not work and it is just frozen. I even tried turning it off but it wouldn't the only way i could turn it off is by using the reset. How do I fix this?

can you access it on the computer?

if yes

then go into the p2 and you should see 2 folders (Data and Media)

If you do not have either of these...create them

If you have them
then tell me what folders are left in the data folder
