Default I got mine and here is my impression.

For several hours in my hand.
I updated the firmware. with the stable bw 3.

Why i think worth the money i gave.

1.Excellent size in my opinion vs the touch.
2.Excellent screen -- the sticker protection is a must.
3.Very quick and easy option selection through touch screen for everything , radio , mp3 text. changing songs , easy fastforward big ( whole album mp3's ) --no prbm for me with touch screen.
4.The touch control is all the money -- it makes mp3 players really fun and entairtaining.
5.You can read small texts + listen simultaneously or listen and go through the menus (very nice ). >the menu is really good. With my language ( greek )
6.Battery seems very strong.
7.I am not fully sutisfied with sound quality but its ok for outside.
8.Because of the size its really handy for voice rec. when it comes.

I havent checked the video only the demos. Its really a con. that dont plays divx. - I hate re-encodings , and for me the video isnt so handy for now.

Overall its really a good item -- for mp3 player fans.
I think much better than touch. because of the size.-- The size is really awesome for mp3 player and the overall design.

>Touch by the way seems really cool for inside home and i like it much.
But i recommend p2 for outside.

ps1. A case seems a must to prevent fall or stolen because its really small. I already almost seat on it accidentaly.

bye.

In my experience you need to have had an mp3 player for a good 2 weeks to have gotten all the kinks worked out and to master using videos and pictures right.

NO music player will have good sound quality with the stock earbuds. Having said that, the ones included with the P2 aren't bad. However, as soon as you plug in a decent set of headphones I think you will find that the sounds quality of the P2 is vastly superior to a lot of the others. Certainly better than the iPod Touch. I have songs on mine ranging from 128kbps CBR mp3's all the way up to 320kbps VBR and high-quality ogg files, and they all sound fantastic. The DAC in the P2 really shows what songs have bad encoding, but if you have good quality files to begin with, I believe you will be very pleased with what you hear.

Correction - The Sony A800-Series, A720-Series and A820-Series all certainly sound great with the stock ear speakers...

The YP-P2 only truly shines with better aftermarket units.

Hey, I was wondering what mod deleted my previous responses to this? I dont understand why they were deleted. For what I know, I wasn't breaking any rules. Its lame.
