The D2 is one heck of a machine by all accounts and dfkt tells me that they can drive even high resistance full sized cans.

You need to tell us what you use at the moment and how you want the sound to be. You also need to tell us what types of music you listen to.

Now the Canada bit poses a challenge as from past posts, we know that to get the best stuff up there you need to purchase online and get it shipped.

That said, have a look at these threads and get back to us

I listen to Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop and Dance.

Currently I was using the JBL Reference 220's and Koss Porta Pro's. I don't consider myself an audiophile and I found these iem's to be comfortable and the sound quite good (the porta pro's I like but they ain't iem's). But then again I'm one of those listeners that has not listened to a pair of higher grade can's and so cannot compare and has not been subjected to what is considered a hq sound signature.

Based on DJKT's chart the q-jays look like the best purchase since they only have one negative and it isn't ease of insert, comfort or build quality which for me are deal breaker's imo.

I don't think you can go wrong with the q-jays, I'd love to own them

I don't know even know which Province you are in from your profile. But if you are in Ontario, have you looked at Tiger Direct stores. They stock a lot of good stuff, or buy online from them. No duty and shipping is reasonable.

For your taste there are quite a bit of options. Jays q-jays, Atrios M5/M8, or the UE Super fi. 5 Pro/ 5 EB. I personally own the UE Super fi. 5 EB, i'm a basshead.
