Questions about firmware
I bought my first MP3 player today, a Sansa Clip 2 GB. I listened to a few of the Clip's sample songs and am impressed by the SQ.
Does this site have a primer on MP3 player firmware? How can I see what version is on my Clip? Is it always advisable to upgrade to the latest firmware?

To check your firmware version: Settings > System Info
Yes, it's advisable to upgrade to the latest version (29, at the time of writing). They fixed some bugs and introduced new features, like Ogg Vorbis support. Check the sticky thread for direct download of the latest firmware.
