Default USB Question e250 Rockbox

Okay, First off, I nstalled rockbox about 2 months ago, It said when i plugged the MP3 Player into my computer, "USB Device malfuncitoned Sansa e250"i uninstalled it that day ( by putting it into recovery mode ).
then installed the original FW had no problems with it so far but all i want to know is... why did it say that?

I don't know what that message means, but theres no USB support for the Sansa in rockbox yet, so you won't be able to use USB outside of the retail firmware regardless.

Because its not stable enough to be worth using over the one in the retail firmware which currently works fine.
