Hi all:
Is there a firmware hack that anyone knows of which can increment the Fast Forward speed so that it's not constant, and in fact accelerates as you hold the FF button down? I have many trance tracks that are 45-90 minutes in length, and I sometimes want to forward to a point that is somewhere in the middle. yeah, I know I can cut up the mp3 and do it that way but SHEESH, cmon, didn't they think of this at the Sansa Engineering headquarters? Engineer: "So, we'd like to implement a fast forward linear accelerator with multiple speed increments in a time constant fashion." Pointy Haired Boss: "More doughnuts!" |

bump? Man, this would suck if this is indeed true that no one knows of this.
Looks like I'm about to ditch my Sansa m240 and get a Micro or Nano.

The new m250 with v4.1.08 firmware has the feature you speak of. I would love a way of adding that to my old m230?
