Default Portable Recorder
Hi,


I have a helmet cam and need a recorder. My question is,
can the Archos 604 be used as a portable recorder for a helmet cam.

No, not if the cam have support for an extended mic.

Its just a cam on its own, it dosent have a mic.

Okay I think there's some confusion, he said he has a helmet cam but I don't think he means the official helmet cam accessory from Archos. Now if the helmet cam supports standard composite output he can use the Travel Dock with the 604 and record from his helmet cam

Yeah, thanks for that, I didnt know about the travel dock. I have had a look at it, and it looks like it will work.
