Hello!
Today i bought this mp3 player. I had a EU firmware and i wanted to unlock the radio. So i updated player with American firmware (2.1.0A). Everything was fine, the radio worked, then i formatted the player (Windows Explorer -> Removable Drive -> Format). Then i got this message on the screen ''Formatting. Do not disconect'': http://shrani.si/o.php?img2838sma1077886.jpg I waited for about 30min and the message was still on. (hmmm...) So i pulled the cable from the player . This is the situation when i connect player in both (MTP,MSC) modes: -Connecting player with pc in MTP mode: http://shrani.si/o.php?11077976.jpg -Connecting player with pc in MSC mode: http://shrani.si/o.php?21077977.jpg Here are some pictures from player http://shrani.si/o.php?img2835sma1077884.jpg http://shrani.si/o.php?img2836sma1077885.jpg So jeah...does anyone know how to fix this problem or is the player dead??!! Thank you!!!! ps: Please excuse my english |

same thing happened here, but with a few differences: on "boot up of the device" it says initialisation failed :-( and i cant even get msc mode to work, just says "please insert disk in drive F:" on mtp, i can access folders, but it says its always full i can try and reformat, but it goes on forever. guessing its a bin job? |

I try it too, make some radio in my sansa...
I have the same problem, 00MB free space, 00 MB used 852songs, 107 recordings, no MSC mode on my 240. and no "backflashing" to the original fw But if I plug it on my amplifier, and I turn the volume to max, the radio it's work good, but very very quiet... so I'm a little bit angry against me... what can i do now?? Go back to the shop and tell them, oh it's work till now until one week, and now it's just go wrong??? hmmm I hope it will be somebody could fix it.. (sorry about my english) |

I tried everything about my problem. I even wrote several e-mails to Sandisk tech support. The guy was very kind and he tried to help me with my problem but nothing worked. So i went to the shop and replace the player with new one.

I hope my vendor do the same, I bring it back yesterday, but I'm afraid, that they will realise my "hack", and they will say "good bye". They sad this repair process will resort 3 week.
