Default Portable Speakers $40 - $130

I'm looking for a pair of portable speakers that I can plug into my Apacer AU822 (http://ap.apacer.com/ap/products/Audio_Steno_AU822.htm) and are between the $40 and $130 range. Less money though would be better.

I want ones that have good sound quality, good bass, are loud and don't break easily as they will probably be put into my school bag. So I guess ones that fold up then would be best. I dunno.

So if anyone can give me suggestions, and the pro's and con's then that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Oh, and do speakers that are powered by batteries any better then speakers powered by the mp3 player? Do they last for longer?

I bought a pair of these a couple of years ago and they are still going strong, but the price sure jumped up. I only paid 30.00 for them

I'm using the On Tour's too.
They're good I guess, I heard that there was a similar Nokia speaker system which was better in terms of bass.

Oh, and definitely go for batteries, they're louder, as they are amplified again by the speaker's batteries and not just the player's battery.
