Help Should I buy a faulty Sleek?

I'm thinking of buying a Sleek with a broken hard drive to fix up and use.
Is this a good idea cost wise and would it be relatively easy to do?
Ive upgraded a Nomad Jukebox (i think that was the name) and a Rio Karma before, would it be similar?
Are there any good guides to follow?

Any help or information would be appreciated.

Thanks

Normally, I would say yes. I recently got a cowon iaudio x5 for almost no money and despite the fact that it doesn't work right now (see my thread in the cowon section) I still think it was a good idea to pick up an old player and make it work again. However, for your device, I wouldn't do it because (as it seems to me, prove me wrong) the sleek isn't anything special at all. I gave the cowon a job because of it's impressing sound quality, if it didn't have that I wouldn't have done it. The sleek doesn't seem to be better in any aspect other than price in compairason to recent players. Also, replacing a HDD is harder then replacing a battery, for example, because those HDD's are pretty specific, I'm not sure if you'll still find a disk that fits your sleek. So I wouldn't take the risk except if we're talking about you picking it up for 20 dollars or less.
